Japan is known as one of quake-prone country. I was at my office in Shibuya at the time of earthquake.
My office shook badly then because we were on the eight floor. Almost all files fell from from our cabinets. The documents were all mixed up.. I found the fallen partition and machine following the earthquake.
Some aftershocks had followed and I was shook up..I was afraid that my sister was in my house. My house is old in fact there are surrounded by tall farnitures in our room...almost all room.. how about my mother.. she was working at a shop all alone. I had to call each place as a company member to make sure that every one was doing well. I was not able to push the number exactly cause I was confusing.. But I thought I should react calmly, I took a deep breath and tried to call them. All circuits were busy at that time.
I was not able to get them on their phone at all. In the meantime, aftershock occured in waves..
After that, I really wanted to contact my family. I was really concerned and I tried to call many times but I was not able to conract them. My senior suggested that I call them from a public phone.
I went out of the office and run. I found a long line from a public phone and I waited. I was finally able to contact my sister. She told me she was fine. I really learned the importance of family.
All trains stopped. We were not able to come back to home. When JR announced that trains would stop all day, we decided to stay there in our office all through the night. But a woman who was a department chief called us to come her house. We were prepared to go out.
I was sttuned by the sight. A huge number of people were walking. I had never seen that.
We took about three hours to get there.
When we checked the news on TV, we could not believe our eyes. It was never been that bad. many people and a lot of houses were engulfed by Tsunami.
Things are getting worse by the minite. Radiation released from a nuclear power plant. Many people evacuated the area.
Many people are going missing.. Fires occurs.. A lot of people were waiting for help .
4 more towns were completely destroyed by Tsunami.. All Japanese was shocked by the news..
I want people from many countries to come and help them out at once.
As possible as they can..
Help Japanese
