Today was Higan day. It was raining heavily but we went to put flowers on my two sisters and relatives' graves.
Usually, we bring some sweets to the place and eat it together but we were not able to do it today due to the weather.
Today also almost gas stations are closed. Because some oil factories are still closed.
They said on the news these oil factories will probably be opened this week. This noon I found the long line for the opened gas startion. But I was able to see the line end..so we gave up getting gas. Therefore we stopped by at a mall. There was dark inside than usual. But it was enough light for us if we do not have a electric power shortage.
I am invited to the wedding party for this week end so I had to prepare a dress and something I need for the day. It will be a after- wedding party. It will be first time for me to take part in such a party, so I do not know which kind of dress should I wear?? Do you know that?? If you have ever joined such a kind of party, I would like you to give me some advice!! I have a white dress I used the graduate-after-party last year at least. I bought a bolero jacket just in case. I also got some pair of shoes were on sale. Actually almost my shoes I have are be tattered even the shoes I have to put on for my job.
We had Purukogi at a Korean restaurant and bought daily products in the supermarket .
Some kind of products which was not available before today came in the store and they are on display.
But we can not buy a lot of products that people in some disaster area still do not have enough food.
I saw that all of people in the supermarket have too many materials in their grocery carts. All Japanese probably have same thinking I was moved..
We took some milk, yogurt and vegetables. we also bought masks for preventing pollen only the quantity needed.
Anyway, today is Tokyo Electric Power Company called the planned outage off for tonight.
My friend Eri called me and asked to come her house yesterday, but I realized the bus and the trains are stopped..and also our car does not have enough gasoline so I am so sorry not to go to her house.
